What is Astrae Oratio?

Astrae Oratio is a "shindenki" (新伝奇) magic and subculture anime RPG published by NC (formerly NCSOFT) and developed by Dynamis One, directed by Jong-gyu Lim. The setting is a fictional 1989 Tokyo where magic is part of daily administration, in a world built around the "Dominion" concept. The player is "Shunin", an ordinary public official — not a mage — working at the Special District Office, the body that oversees mages, until the Office's Commissioner pulls Shunin into incidents. The title was unveiled on April 30, 2026, followed by a Super Teaser PV on May 7 and the first key character reveals on May 12.
